PASSION OVER INDIFFERENCE

Passion: Strong and barely controllable emotion

Indifference: Lack of interest or concern; unimportance, mediocre

Sometimes we just want to get by.  We have all lived in that place of mediocrity; making ends meet.  Getting the job done; but not really knocking it out of the park.  This phenomenon stems from not giving it our all; our best; our full intention and attention.

The challenge is to make sure that “sometimes” isn’t all the time.  Ask yourself: what if this was the last week you had on earth and you wanted to leave a mark, a legacy, make a difference of some kind.  In terms of how you are now living your life, would the idea be overwhelming?  Do you feel it would be too late? What could you do really do in seven days?

Take today to make a difference for somebody.  Do one thing this week that will make a difference for someone else.  Do something more than the ordinary for someone you meet that could use a hand.  Perhaps that’s a family member, a co-worker, a neighbor or a friend.

Sometimes we need those friends who push us to do that one thing that gets us out of a place of indifference and into a place of purpose.

Making personal improvements by even 1% a day can lead to meaningful impact and change for you and for others.  Inspire yourself to live for more than the necessary and reach for the greatness of purpose – you deserve it.
